Spotlight Series 1200 x 200 (21)

We are excited to introduce Takeve, the first platform In the world created to promote women’s employment and the redevelopment of sustainable logistics.

Founded by Evelyn Pereirathe venture addressed the need for a safer, more ethical delivery model in a sector where female employment is underrepresented. Initially launched as a food delivery platform, Takeve provided riders with regular contracts, safety, and fair working conditions. Today, they are transitioning into sustainable last-mile delivery, leveraging the lessons learned from the initial success while maintaining their core values of female empowerment, ethical employment, and sustainability.

Takeve is one of the 50 selected companies in Cohort 1 and part of the Logistics group.

What’s the biggest industry problem that you’re tackling and how?

The main challenges in our industry include finding sustainable solutions for route optimization, rising consumer expectations for fast delivery, and addressing gender inequalities in the workforce.
Takeve tackles these issues by implementing electric fleets with API-integrated and dashboards smart logistics, which allow efficient, eco-friendly deliveries while promoting women’s employment in logistics. Our model not only reduces CO2 emissions but also empowers businesses to be part of a value-driven supply chain.

What keeps you awake at night about your startup?

Apart from preferring to work on strategic planning at night, what really keeps me awake is organizing a fleet that upholds the best labor rights, maximizing capacity and efficiency to set a new standard in the sector. My goal is to see more women working in logistics, satisfied partners, and clients who value being part of a system that promotes sustainability and equity.
Additionally, achieving operational efficiency without sacrificing quality or environmental standards requires careful planning and constant innovation.

In your wildest dreams, what would success look like for your company?

Actually in my wildest dreams, Takeve would operate across major European cities, continuously innovating in urban logistics while setting the standard for sustainable and ethical delivery. Success means not only being a profitable leader in last-mile delivery but also inspiring an industry-wide shift towards inclusivity and environmental responsibility, establishing ourselves as a model in logistics that other companies strive to emulate. To support our growing network and its startups, we invite potential stakeholders (investors, lead customers, mentors, and supporting partners) to apply here.
