We are pleased to welcome Electriq Global, a company solving the gaps that conventional hydrogen cannot, led by Baruch Halpert, Executive Chairman, and CEO.

Electriq has developed a patented hydrogen storage technology that simplifies storage, transport, and use. Unlike traditional hydrogen, their innovative solution offers higher energy density, enhanced safety, and reduced infrastructure costs, making hydrogen more practical for real-world applications.

Electriq is one of the 50 selected companies in Cohort 1 and part of the Sustainable Freight Transportation group.

What’s the biggest industry problem that you’re tackling and how? 

Pure hydrogen storage and transportation are hazardous and costly. We bind hydrogen in the form of powder, which can be stored, transported and used in ambient conditions similar to detergent, safe and practical.

What keeps you awake at night about your startup?

Insufficient availability of green hydrogen hinders scaling up our technology and reaching the commercial stage.

In your wildest dreams, what would success look like for your company?

A world where Electriq’s hydrogen powder is a common universal fuel in the global energy mix.
