Spotlight Series 1200 x 200 (20)

We are very excited to introduce our first network spotlight feature: Q&A with Scott Galvao, CEO at circuly.io, a company that provides subscription management software tailored for product-as-a-service models, enabling businesses to rent out physical products like vehicles, electronics, furniture, and more.

Founded by Nick Huijs, this white-label solution simplifies recurring payments, subscription management, asset tracking, and returns, supporting companies in building and scaling circular, sustainable business models.

circuly is a network partner at D2XCEL and supports ventures by sharing knowledge and expertise in sales & marketing, global operations, securing funding, and scaling.

What skillset do European startups need to succeed in digital and deep tech (Sustainable Logistics, Trade, Transport & Mobility, Energy, Construction, and Smart Cities)?

European digital and deep tech startups need a combination of focus and adaptability to thrive. First, they must articulate a unique value proposition—what sets them apart in the market. This clarity helps attract the right partners, investors, and customers. Second, clearly defined goals are essential for driving progress and measuring success, but those goals must be paired with the flexibility to pivot and evolve in response to the fast-changing tech landscape.

How can you contribute to their development and acceleration?

I’m thrilled to support startups in their growth journey by sharing over two decades of experience in the tech space which includes:

• Sales and driving revenue

• Running an international company with a global outlook

• Marketing and partnerships to create impactful collaborations

• Securing investments and fueling growth

• Scaling operations effectively

• Successfully exiting businesses.

What advantages do European digital and deep tech startups have vs. non-European startups in their fields?

European digital and deep tech startups have a unique advantage thanks to the continent’s rich diversity and leading academic institutions that foster cutting-edge innovation. I’ve also noticed that operating within strict regulatory environments often pushes startups here to lead in sectors like AI, fintech, and healthcare. Finally, Europe’s growing emphasis on sustainability and ethical tech gives them an edge in aligning with future global market demands.

To support our growing network and startups, we invite potential stakeholders (investors, lead customers, mentors, and supporting partners) to apply here.
