Building the Future of Green Port Infrastructure: An Interview with Madoqua

1. How would you describe your organisation and its role in the transport, logistics, or port innovation ecosystem?   

Madoqua is a company that specializes in renewable energy solutions. It focuses on sustainable energy production and the development of clean technologies and infrastructures, often involving projects in solar, wind, and other renewable energy sectors. 

2. What industry challenges are you helping to solve?  How? 

The implementation of decarbonisation and the energy transition is being achieved through the creation of port infrastructures, green corridors, and shipping routes where low-emission shipping solutions are commercially available 
 
3. Which solution or technology are you most excited to highlight at the conference?  

An innovative project to store, handle, and bunker alternative fuels in the port of Sines. 

4. How is your organisation contributing to the digital or green transition in the sector?   

This can be achieved through the creation of port infrastructures, green corridors, and shipping routes where low-emission shipping solutions are commercially available. 

5. Collaboration With NEXUS & D2XCEL 

What motivated you to support the NEXUSxD2XCEL International Innovation Conference 2025?   
Because of NEXUS & D2XCEL's innovative solutions for the digital and green transition of the port and logistics sector in Portugal 
 
6. What message would you like to share with the conference community and the wider industry?   

An infrastructure at the Port of Sines to enable the green fuels economy.
