We are excited to introduce our next network spotlight feature with Anastasis Stamatis, Co-founder and CEO of Dataphoria, the first data-for-good impact-driven startup in Greece, providing ESG and sustainability data integration, management, and analytics.
Dataphoria offers an Analytics-as-a-Service platform for any company, organization, or city that wants to measure, optimize, and communicate its sustainability transition accurately and effectively.
The company is part of the D2XCEL stakeholders network and as a mentor for Cohort 1 companies, Anastasis helps startups align with sustainability goals that enable them to attract funding and long-term growth.
What skillset do European startups need to succeed in digital and deep tech (Sustainable Logistics, Trade, Transport & Mobility, Energy, Construction, and Smart Cities)?
European startups need leaders with a disruptive mindset and a focus on scalable solutions. They must think beyond local or national markets and address shared challenges across Europe. This requires understanding diverse regulations, building adaptable technologies, and leveraging cross-border collaboration for sustainable growth.
How can you contribute to their development and acceleration?
I would help startups use impact-driven growth as a competitive advantage. Startups aligning with sustainability goals can attract funding and create long-term value. I will be using my green tech expertise and founder experience to guide them in designing scalable solutions that deliver both social impact and strong financial results.
What advantages do European digital and deep tech startups have vs. non-European startups in their fields?
European startups excel in industries like cleantech and greentech due to the support provided by strong policies like the European Green Deal. Europe’s focus on sustainability and cross-border collaboration has the potential to foster innovation in digital and deep tech. With the right support and a practical mindset, these startups can scale globally and lead in solving the world's most critical challenges.
To support our growing network and startups, we invite potential stakeholders (investors, lead customers, mentors, and supporting partners) to apply here.
