4. What does it mean for you to take part in an international event hosted in Sines/Portugal?

Participating in an international event in Sines is an opportunity to be present at one of Portugal’s most strategic logistics hubs. It reinforces our connection to the port community and highlights the importance of Portugal in global supply chains.

5. What message would you like to share with the conference participants and community?

The dual digital and green transitions are interconnected opportunities, not separate challenges. By combining data collaboration, intelligent systems, and decarbonisation strategies, we can build logistics chains that are both more efficient and more sustainable. The collaboration between research institutions and industrial and port stakeholders is absolutely essential to turn research into real-world impact.
