We’re excited to announce that D2XCEL has partnered with Smart Freight Centre (SFC), an international non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the emissions impact of global freight transportation. This partnership marks a significant step in advancing sustainability in the logistics and freight sector.
As part of this collaboration, selected ventures from the D2XCEL portfolio in logistics and freight transport will participate in the Spotlight on Innovation sessions on March 20, 2025, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This event is part of Smart Freight Week, an invitation-only flagship gathering designed to accelerate global freight decarbonization through industry-wide collaboration.
Empowering the Future of Sustainable Freight
Willem Bulthuis, Co-lead of the EIC D2XCEL Programme, expressed his enthusiasm:
“The D2XCEL programme provides ventures a unique holistic mentoring program. This includes not only access to leading European investors but also networking with potential key customers. For our cohort of Sustainable Freight Transportation ventures, Smart Freight Week offers the perfect opportunity to get exposure to about 600 sustainable transport decision-makers from across the world. We are delighted about the excellent collaboration with Smart Freight Centre to make this possible and to drive innovation in the transport sector.”
